It's a mixed emotion.
I got accepted by Singapore Polytechnic, Year 2, Diploma in Food Science and Technology.
My mother wasnt glad about it.
She was like "why did you get into food science ? sigh."
She's still like before, insisting that only the field she's in has the best grass.
What can I say ?
Her reactions were just too heavy for me to handle.
I totally lost the mood to do anything,
let alone the enrolment stuff..
Now, I am fighting a war with myself - should i just continue studying in BCA Academy, or just go against my mother's wish?
All I know is that I am not as determined as my sister.
It's ok to go against others' wishes, so long as she gets what she wants.
I couldnt make myself do it.
My sister was like, "hey! just ignore what she says! the future is yours, you have to prove to her."
That's our difference.
Sigh.
Somehow, I knew that this will come if im being enrolled into a course other than civil engineering.
But I thought there's a glimmer of hope since my mum kept saying that it's hard to stay in the construction line.
Well, words are just words.
I shouldnt have believed it anyway.
Gullible.
Still, up to this moment in time, 2months to 21,
I still dont see my future.
My future is still bleak.
